Login and signup

You’re on the login page but the email with the login code never arrives. A few common causes:

I didn’t receive a confirmation or login email — what should I do?

Section titled “I didn’t receive a confirmation or login email — what should I do?”

Three things to try in order:

  1. Check Spam/Junk — NameDrop emails sometimes get filtered, especially on corporate addresses.
  2. Ask your IT team to whitelist namedrop.io — particularly if you’re using a corporate email behind a strict filter.
  3. Use OTP login instead if Microsoft login isn’t working (see the next section).

I’m having trouble logging in with Microsoft (or Zoho, etc.) — what should I do?

Section titled “I’m having trouble logging in with Microsoft (or Zoho, etc.) — what should I do?”

Try the OTP login option (email me a one-time code) instead of the Microsoft button.

Some users hit email-domain quirks when logging in via Microsoft or other org accounts — the OTP flow side-steps that entirely. You’ll still end up on the same NameDrop account, just authenticated via email code rather than via your IdP.

I mistyped my email during signup — can I fix it?

You’ll need to sign up again with the correct email — NameDrop doesn’t currently support email migration self-serve.

If the wrong email is in active use and you can’t access it, open a support ticket — include both the current (wrong) email and the correct email you want to use.

You don’t need to — and you can’t. NameDrop moved away from passwords entirely.

To log in or sign up, just enter your email address. We email you a one-time code. Enter the code, you’re in. No password to forget, nothing to reset.
