NameDrop in Microsoft Teams surfaces pronunciations alongside teammates in the people picker, chat, and meeting roster — so colleagues can hear how to say each other’s names before the first conversation.

Current status

Section titled “Current status”
  • Available for Microsoft 365 tenants that have the Teams enterprise SKU
  • Requires a Tenant Admin install
  • Per-user “Record my name” surface is available in the same install — no extra steps
